2013 - 21st Winter Fluorine Conference

The ACS Division of Fluorine Chemistry is delighted to announce the 21st Biennial Winter Fluorine Conference to be held on January13-18, 2013 at the TradeWinds Island Grand Beach Resort in St. Pete Beach, FL. The conference chair is Prof. Michael Gerken and the co-chair is Prof. Stephen G. DiMagno.
The 21st Winter Fluorine Conference will feature invited plenary and oral presentations as well as contributed papers and posters by fluorine chemists. This conference provides a forum to discuss progress in modern Fluorine Chemistry including new developments in Organic, Inorganic, Physical, Polymer, and Medicinal and Biological Chemistry.
This six-day international interdisciplinary meeting will also feature the award address of the recipient of the 2013 ACS Award for Creative Work in Fluorine Chemistry. Abstract submission for the 21st Winter Fluorine Conference is now open and closes on Monday, September 24, 2012. Abstracts being submitted for presentationshould consist of a maximum of 250 words or less. Attendees will be required to create an ACS ID prior to submitting their abstract(s) in the Program and Abstract Creation System (PACS). Attendees who already have an ACS ID will not be required to create another one but should use their existing ACS ID. Abstracts can be submitted at http://abstracts.acs.org. Registration and housing opens on Friday, August 3, 2012. The deadline for registration is Monday, December 10, 2012 and Friday, December 21, 2012 for housing.
